Innovation output: patents, trademarks and knowledge work

Each dot is a country. Right = ranks higher on innovation (patent and trademark filings per million, plus the share of jobs in knowledge-intensive work); up = ranks higher overall. Innovation is the widest-spread category in the study, so dots scatter further from the diagonal than they do for digitalisation.
