Germany draws the most foreign B2B sellers in absolute terms. Per million local enterprises it ranks eighth of fourteen. Sort by either column to see how differently the two measures order the same markets.

Germany, the UK and France all draw large numbers of foreign sellers, but they have millions of enterprises to spread that attention across. The Nordics, Switzerland and Austria draw comparable numbers into far smaller markets.

The United States is excluded from this ranking, which covers European markets only. In absolute terms it drew 1,726 foreign companies, more than any market here.

Adjust for the size of the local economy and the ranking inverts. Denmark attracts 2,140 foreign sellers per million enterprises; Italy attracts 140, a fifteenfold gap between the most and least contested market in the study. Finland attracts 9.5 times more foreign attention per enterprise than France.
