Why 16.9% here and 15.8% above: the assistant figures cover 1 April to 12 August 2026, a longer window than the four-week channel figures, because single assistants need more time to build up volume. Over the longer window all assistants together match at 16.9%. Over the four-week window AI referrals match at 15.8%. Both are correct for their window. Six smaller assistants are omitted from the chart: under 0.3% of AI visits between them.
The takeaway
The volume comes from ChatGPT and the better fit comes from the others. Take ChatGPT out and the rest fit at 18.9%, level with paid search on 19.1%.
